Simultaneous Color Contrast

This is my first iteration of a color contrast design. It is supposed to use contrasting colors to turn a neutral color a different hue. This is exemplified in the below diagram. My piece wasn't as successful due to a lack of white in my paint. This could've also been fixed with a matte medium. My cut-out design however stands strong to promote the effect. I will most likely rework this in the future.
